  • Fill optimization 
      • First-stage fill uses velocity control to inject with minimal velocity steps 
  • Pressure
      • Second-stage packing pressure must be high enough to finish filling the cavity plus compensate for material shrinkage during cooling
  • Recovery
      • Decompression must be used prior to screw recovery in order to relieve packing pressure
